PRAYER OF APPROACHWritten by Blake Flattley

LEADER: Holy God,
CONGREGATION: we stand in Your presence today overwhelmed by your mercy.

L: You have pursued us in love
C: and we have run from you.

L: You have covered us in Your righteousness
C: and we have defaced your beauty

L: It is solely the redemptive grace of Jesus Christ that brings us here.
C: Awaken within us a loving response, which hungers and thirsts for Your Truth and beauty.

L: As we worship you,
C: please do not give us the blessings that our corrupt hearts desire
but the ones we most need.

L: Though daily we run from you, pursue us with your love.
C: Work acts of repentance in our hearts that we would turn from our ways and recognize you're unfathomable love for us, the Church, the bride of Christ. Amen!

SONG | Rejoice by Dustin Kensrue [bandcamp]

SCRIPTURE READINGRevelation 19:7-9
Let us rejoice, be happy, and give him glory because it’s time for the marriage of the lamb. His bride has made herself ready. 8 She has been given the privilege of wearing

dazzling, pure linen.” This fine linen represents the things that God’s holy people do that have his approval. 9 Then the angel said to me, “Write this: ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the lamb’s wedding banquet.’” He also told me, “These are God’s true words.”

Our Father
Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven;
give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen
